Play. It's the single most important thing I do in creating new photographs. An idea happens and I simply play with it. The rest is simply waiting until the smoke takes an interesting twist or two then pressing the shutter. I played here for well over a hundred frames. Light some incense for your self and watch. The variations are infinite and endlessly fascinating. The lighting is a single Comet electronic flash head coming from the right. After shooting the RAW files are imported into Adobe Lightroom 2.0 for archiving and editing.
