This was a commentary of the state of photography in 1967 with the advent of small format cameras and the ascendance of the photo editor. It is also a prescient look at photography now in the time of digital capture.
Blending the past into now.
I photographed all of the stained glass windows, the interior and choir loft of the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta twenty-five years ago with my Sinar P on 4X5 color transparency film for a book celebrating its fiftieth anniversary. Recently, I composited them to create a 30 by 40 inch print for the church’s seventy-fifth anniversary celebration later this month.
