On Madaket Beach…
A timber jutting up from the sand was all that was left from a home swept away by recent storms. Waves crashed against it creating water sculptures. Captivated by the forms, I photographed them with a Canon 1DsMarkIII and a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 with a Sigma 2X teleconverter on my Really Right Stuff Versa Series 3 tripod and ball head. The exposure was 1/1600th of a second at f/8.0 ISO: 100.
